If you have a 2002-06 Cooper (non-S), please be careful about which filter you need. Filter A is for manual transmission Coopers from 2002 through July of 2004 build dates. Filter A is TRIANGULAR. Filter B is for ALL Cooper (non-S) automatics from 2002-06, plus convertibles through 2008 model year. Filter B is RECTANGULAR. If you are in doubt, please check under your hood and make sure your filter shape matches!
